HSC Engineering Drawing- 1st Paper (Theo) Model Question

1.         Draw a triangle having given the perimeter 10 cm and the proportion 2 t 3 t 4 of the sides.            10

                        Or,

            Draw a regular pentagon of 3cm base.

2.         Construct a triangle given the base one of the base angles and the sum of the two other sides.       10

                        Or,

            Construct a triangle, given the base, the vertical angle and the altitude.

3.         Draw an internal tangent of two given unequal diameters circle.                                                      10

                        Or,

            Draw a tangent to an ellipse from a given point outside of it.

4.         Draw the plan and front elevation of a straight line of 5 cm. long. It is inclined at an angle of 30⁰

with H.P and 45⁰ with the V.P.                                                                                                          10

                        Or,

            A rectangle of 6 cm and 4 cm sides rests on its greater sides on H.P. It is parallel to V.P and inclined at 60⁰ to the HP. Draw its view.

5.         A square pyramid of base 3 cm sides, axis is 6 cm long, rest on one of its triangular face in H.P.

Its one edge of the base parallel to V.P. Draw its view.                                                                    10

                        Or,

            A hexagonal prism of 3 cm sides and 6 cm length rests on one corner of its base on H.P with its axis parallel to V.P and inclined at 30⁰ to the H.P. Project it.

6.         Draw the isometric view of a circle of 8 cm dia.                                                                                10

                        Or,

            Draw the isometric view of A square block of 3 cm rests centrally on the top of another square block of 6 cm.
